This paper examines Sri Lanka’s foreign policy relations with China, India, the US and Japan. More specifically, it focuses on the major strategic, economic, political and cultural agreements and exchanges the Sirisena-Wickremesinghe government has pursued with these countries since coming to power in January 2015. The outreach efforts have been successful, the text’s author concludes, because they have been balanced.
