While comparing the intelligence systems of the above BRICS nations, Marco Cepik and Gustavo Möller answer three fundamental questions. 1) How are these five national intelligence systems organized? 2) How centralized and/or subordinate are they? And 3) what are the risks these institutions face, particularly when it comes to their strategic adaptability, resilience, and ability to retain information?
