This bulletin ponders whether the ongoing war in the Donbas region of Ukraine could develop into yet another frozen conflict in the post-Soviet space. While current military operations don’t point to such a possibility, Russia’s military meddling in the area has temporarily blocked Ukraine’s prospects for NATO and EU membership and hampered Western support for the Ukrainian government.
