This guide provides African states with the legislative information they need to ratify and implement relevant conventional arms regimes. While the guide particularly focuses on the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT), it also refers to the UN Programme of Action to Prevent, Combat and Eradicate the Illicit Trade in Small Arms and Light Weapons in All Its Aspects (UNPoA) and its by-products.
