This article argues highlights how a unilateral pre-emptive military strike by the US against North Korea could prove to be dangerously problematic. More specifically, the author outlines how the reasons for this involve 1) the retaliation capacity of North Korea, which the US should not underestimate; and 2) the possibility of inciting China to support Pyongyang indirectly, and more. As a result, the outlines a more cautionary approach the US could adopt to address growing tensions on the Korean Peninsula.
