This article advocates for a renewed assessment of relations between the West and Russia, and proposes that in order to ease tensions, Western countries could shift away from their current promotion of ´Liberal Peace´ and towards the pursuit of ´Plural Peace´. The authors explain that where ´Liberal Peace´ is preoccupied with transforming value systems, ´Plural Peace´ instead focuses on creating explicit rules of conduct and fostering cooperation between actors in pursuit of common goals.
