This paper examines how the above institutions, which are charged with rectifying personnel issues, might integrate social media platforms into their broader business and communications strategies. The platforms could 1) build trust and increase cooperation with the public, and 2) improve institutional transparency, primarily by developing clear institutional guidelines and establishing monitoring mechanisms that enhance accountability.
