The articles in this JOBS issue address three generic topics from a “lessons learned” point of view – leadership, crisis management and strategic communications. The specific articles focus on 1) the role of cyber operations in the Crimean Water Crisis, as perpetrated by pro-Russian separatists; 2) the patterns of Russian information operations against Ukraine; 3) the use of social network analyses within the crisis management domain; 4) the role of the Commander-In-Chief within the command and control system of Poland; 5) the leadership challenges that exist within a multinational brigade framework; 6) the Israel Defense Forces’ problems with “lessons learned” from 1948 to 1973; 7) the Russian approach to hybrid warfare, mostly in the cases of Ukraine and Chechnya, and more.
