This workshop report focuses on the fluid political and security circumstances that exist in Mali and what impact they might have on the mandate of the UN’s Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA). The event’s participants agreed that MINUSMA must first and foremost continue to help implement the country’s 2015 peace agreement, but it should also ensure that the population can indeed benefit from the consequences of a fragile peace.
