This publication highlights the positive cost-effectiveness of peacebuilding activities. It specifically provides 1) a conceptual framework for counting and categorizing these undertakings; 2) a comprehensive accounting of global peacebuilding expenditures from 2002 to 2013; 3) a global model of cost-effectiveness, which is based on case study findings; and 4) suggested avenues for future research.
