This brief assesses the political discontent that exists in the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). More specifically, the text’s author 1) gauges the level of concord that exists in the three major geographical segments of the corridor; 2) analyzes the prolonged neglect and abject exclusion that has led to political unrest in these areas; and 3) examines the likely future impact of the “complex triangular geographical equations” the exist between India, Pakistan and China in general and CPEC in particular.
