The articles in this issue of Perspectives on Terrorism focus largely on the activities of al-Qaida. More specifically, the issue is divided into two parts. While the first covers general questions related to al-Qaida’s history and its recent status, the second part features case studies of countries and regions where the group or its affiliates have been active. The issue also includes a bibliography on al-Qaeda and its affiliated organizations as well as recent online resources that are available for terrorism analysis.
