This brief argues that the Footprints of Peace (FOP) project in Colombia is a shining example of how business-led peacebuilding initiatives can boost local economies and societal development. The text further asserts that the project 1) supports several existing business-leads-to-peace claims; 2) sheds light on three new business-peace research gaps; and 3) provides options that policymakers might pursue in order to support future development-business collaborations and local peacebuilding efforts.
