This report by the US Department of State reviews the global terrorist threats and incidents that scarred 2015 and the counterterrorism measures taken against them. More specifically, the report 1) breaks down the global terrorism landscape by regions, countries and safe havens; 2) highlights the sources of state-sponsored terror; 3) explores the ongoing challenge posed by chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear terrorism; and 4) identifies those groups that qualify, at least in the US Government’s view, as foreign terrorist organizations.
