In light of the ongoing US-North Korean negotiations, this publication analyzes the United States’ long-term goals and interests on the Korean Peninsula and how they interact with the priorities of other key players, including South Korea, North Korea and China. In doing so, the report examines the desired 'end states' of each of the key actors concerned and offers several recommendations on how the US should conduct its foreign policy toward the Korean peninsula to further its goals accordingly.
