What does the Paris Climate Agreement permit or not permit when it comes to climate engineering? This text’s authors specifically examine technologies that would fcilitate carbon dioxide removal (CDR) and solar radiation management (SRM). They conclude that these tools would confront legal stumbling blocks, but that the problems would ultimately be manageable.
