This brief explores the new dynamics of Germany’s relations with its European partners and the United States, particularly on three levels: 1) the domestic sphere, which highlights the public’s positive perception of EU membership and its benefits; 2) the European level, which emphasizes the need for enhanced cooperation between member states; and 3) the international arena, which highlights trade issues and Germany’s relations with Russia and Turkey.
