This paper examines Bangladesh-United Stated relations, particularly in the wake of US Secretary of State John Kerry’s visit to Dhaka in August 2016. The text’s author notes that the relationship between the two countries hasn’t always been easy and that “feathers have been ruffled” on occasion. Nevertheless, there are compelling reasons for the next Administration in Washington and Bangladeshi leaders to reengage with each other, as described here.
