This bulletin believes the revived Cyprus reunification talks present a unique opportunity to 1) reinforce regional stability; 2) bolster EU energy security; and 3) reshape EU-Turkey relations. However, given the lingering disagreements among the negotiating parties, the text’s authors also call on the EU to take on the role of security guarantor.
