The Internal Displacement Monitoring Centre (IDMC) works to improve the ability of national and international actors to protect and assist those who have been displaced as a result of conflicts, generalized violence, human rights violations and natural disasters. More specifically, the Centre provides 1) displacement-centered information and analyses for those working across the humanitarian and development fields, and 2) training support on the international legal norms and standards that are relevant to internal displacement.
