This paper looks at the responses of large corporations to one of the most pressing developmental challenges facing countries in the global South - HIV/AIDS. It presents results and analysis from global surveys of transnational corporations' (TNCs) responses to the pandemic. The main analytical finding is that the corporate sector is only beginning to wake up to the risk that HIV/AIDS poses for business operations.
