Publication

This paper talks about industrial policy in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries in East Asia and the Middle East. In particular, it looks at the role industrial policy played in the promotion of nationally owned enterprises, the securing of the home market, the creation of jobs, and the enhancement of technologies and skills.
