This paper examines the anti-corruption efforts pursued by transnational civil society organizations (CSOs). The paper discusses their functions and activities, as well as the various methods they employ to achieve their goals. The paper concludes that anti-corruption organizations and movements appear to be adequate in terms of programs, strategies and techniques, but that their capacity to reduce country-level corruption over the long-term has yet to be determined.
