This analysis looks at the relationship between the timing of events, such as home- and school-leaving and sexual initiation among Filipino youth. The author also identifies the factors that affect premarital sexual initiation among young adults, determines if early departure from home and school leads to early sex and explores how these events affect transition to adulthood among Filipinos. Finally she presents a descriptive analysis to make a distinction between males and females to account for possible gender differences.
