This paper offers a view on Winston Churchill's impact on Australia's foreign policies. "Australasian Anxieties" is the title Churchill gave to the chapter in his war memoirs dealing with the situation in the Pacific after Pearl Harbor. The author argues that Churchill never tried to understand Australian politics, which he claims to be so similar yet so different from their British model.
