This article presents a brief primer on the key security issues that emerge from the proliferation of nuclear, biological and chemical (NBC) weapons and missiles as a means of delivery. The authors improve understanding of the NBC threat and the consequences for US forces should these weapons be used. Further it reflects a growing national concern about the possibility for, and consequences of, terrorist use of these weapons against the US.
