This paper examines recent trends in Southeast Asian neighborhood policies and regional development cooperation between India and Bangladesh. The author notes that the issue of regional connectivity is part of the debate on 'small state - big state syndrome,' where a smaller country tries to hold on to leverage to maximize its advantage. However, for Bangladesh, this leverage appears to be non-negotiable, she argues.
