This report explores economic integration between the EU and Ukraine, Russia, Egypt, Morocco and Algeria, from the EU's perspective. The authors review various forms of economic integration, time dependencies between them and their institutional basis. They discuss the effects of integration, noting EU Energy Cooperation with Russia, Algeria and Ukraine and highlighting prospects for EU financial assistance.
