This report explores changes to companies undergoing privatization in transition countries and the Czech Republic in particular. It focuses on the economic outcomes of voucher privatization and discusses the changes in ownership structures of Czech privatized companies. The authors identify the types of owners and analyze emerging trends in ownership concentration. They describe post-privatization transactions and their influence on owner re-allocation and concentration.
