This article examines the implications of the India-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (FTA). The author argues that there is a huge potential for furthering India-ASEAN economic relations and that new opportunities are expected to be opened by the FTA. She also presents several elements that are calling for a more cautious conclusion.
