This issue of Disarmament Forum explores efforts to curb the illicit brokering of arms. Chapters survey international initiatives to prevent illicit arms brokering and arms brokering in weapons of mass destruction (WMD)-related items. They also review regional efforts to check the trade and discuss the legacy of illicit arms brokering in the Americas, Europe and Southern Africa.
