This brief reviews the diplomatic spats at the Sino-Indian border and the upsurge in Chinese incursions in 2009. It explores whether there is a larger design behind these Chinese skirmishes and assesses the strength of the Indian response. The author examines the likelihood of a limited India-China border confrontation.
