This book focuses on disarmament education. It surveys the topic of disarmament education, assesses lesson-learned from UN disarmament education efforts, and looks at the intersection of disarmament and peace education. It also considers the involvement of scientists in disarmament and arms control education and ethics, chronicles the development of international education programs since World War I, and overviews the menace of small arms and lights weapons (SALW).
