This publication examines the status of religious reconciliation and coexistence in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), finding education in religious understanding unstructured or nonexistent. It discusses early post-war efforts in bringing religious leaders together with reference to the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), leading to the creation of the Inter-Religious Council (IRC) of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The author assesses the structure of the IRC as well as projects undertaken in BiH before exploring religious teaching in the educational system.
