This paper describes the diverse agendas driving the Reduced Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+) debate and considers what this means in terms of moving ahead with the initiative in the context of a broader climate change agreement. The authors examine the 'game' between the different stakeholders and the current status of the process.
