By 2010, Russian-Polish relations have acquired a more balanced character – these are the relations of two equals, feeling safe and secure, aware of their historical phobias and able to overcome them. Thus the current rapprochement is a deliberate mutual political action of two equal countries. There are no obvious internal domestic or external international reasons why this development – of course with deviations – should be interrupted.
