This paper analyzes speeches delivered by Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) Chief Prabharakan and LTTE Intelligence Chief Pottu Amman at the 2005 LTTE Martyrs' Day celebrations. The author argues that the speeches were provocative and strongly formulated, signalling the LTTE's readiness to ignite a new wave of violence.
