In this brief, the authors forecast the 2008 Pakistani election results, granted the elections are held on 18 February and are relatively free and fair. According to their projections, the majority of votes will go to the PPP in Sindh, the religious parties (JUI-F and PML-Q) in Balochistan, the JUI-F in the North-West Frontier Province, and the PPP and the PML-N in Punjab.
