This article provides a critique of the US Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI). The PSI, the author argues, has been justified as necessary by those claiming that the Non-Proliferation Treaty is in crisis. He looks at these arguments and determines that the Treaty remains robust. He concludes by questioning whether India should join the PSI regime for the sake of expediency or stay out on moral/legal grounds.
