Using Uzbekistan as an example, this study explores how the policies and actions of governments in developed countries have led to the expansion of human rights abuses and violations in less developed countries. It details the various definitions of terrorism, examines particular civil and political rights which are under threat, and analyzes case studies in which individuals have been classified as terrorists in questionable circumstances.
