This policy brief examines the ramifications of expanding warfare into the domain of space for US defense policy. The author argues that new arrangements to provide tactical space reconnaissance need to be established. To do this, the US should analyze what its fighting architecture in space should involve and that substantial analytic work is needed to shape effective responses both to foreign threats and to budget exigencies.
