This paper addresses the link between HIV/AIDS and gender, primarily focusing on the worst hit countries in Africa such as Uganda, Tanzania and Ethiopia. It is based on in-country legal, institutional resource studies, video-conference policy discussion forums, and diagnostic sessions that were conducted by The International Development Law Organization and highlights significant lessons learned.
