The international community struggles with the challenge of repairing the damage in post-conflict societies, including restoring the homes, property and other kinds of well-being of traumatized populations. This paper looks at the work of Vasa Prava, a nongovernmental organization that has helped heal such wounds in Bosnia and Herzegovina by providing legal services to the displaced and disadvantaged.
