This legal brief analyzes the main outcomes related to climate change adaptation of the 16th Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC held in November-December 2010 (COP16). The authors present the positions on adaptation and also discuss the new financial commitments. They also question the opening up of the UNFCCC adaptation efforts to multidimensional actions relating to rights, disaster risk reduction strategies, displacement, and migration and planned relocation.
