This book discusses international geopolitics with an emphasis on the strategic role of geography. The author divides the world into geographical areas of political interest: land powers and sea powers. This geopolitical distinction provides some arguments on the ensuing conflict between the crucial Heartland (Eurasia, also known as the "Pivot Area") and Germany, as well as the sea powers, such as the United Kingdom. The author suggests that a supranational organization, such as the League of Nations, would be able to enforce global justice between small and big states, should it be granted sufficient power.
