This book discusses multiple aspects of psychological warfare and its role in the US military strategy. The authors of this volume argue that the US should no longer shy away from political and psychological warfare (i.e. subversion and propaganda) against the Soviet Union, since that has become one of the prevalent means of the conflict between the two superpowers. By revealing both successes and mistakes of the past, the authors present possibilities for improving US efforts today and in the future.
