This note examines two of Pakistan's major challenges: the critical state of the economy and the deficit of governance. If the goal is a stable, secure Pakistan, then unless the economy is seriously addressed, the outcome will not be a positive one. However, good governance is a clear pre-requisite for achieving economic growth, according to the authors.
