It shares experiences and good practices in implementation of the resolutions in national security policy-making, SSR processes and in the military, police and justice sectors. It highlights how international and regional organizations have supported implementation of the resolutions in these areas. In contrast to the previous toolkits, this one explicitly refers to women and girls, rather than ‘gender’. Thus it does not address the particular security needs and roles of men, boys or lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people.
