In face of the 2013 election in Pakistan, this issue looks at radicalism, extremism, and the civil-military divide, which alienates the intelligentsia from both the state and the military. Beyond the economy and governance; increasingly radicalized mindsets; extremism and militancy, and the civil-military divide are issues that are conditioning the country’s uncertain future.
