This report addresses the problem of men preventing women’s empowerment in Burundi through observing men engaged in a local organization committed to changing the ways in which men and women interact and giving up abusive and oppressive practices. The goal of this study was to find out how being a member of the organization has changed individuals' attitudes and what CARE can learn from this.
